This was Kaydences' first valentines day as well as Miles' and I. We wernt able to spend valentines day together last year because Miles had just left for boot camp. This one was very special to us. Kaydence and I got up early as usual and cooked daddy an awesome breakfast. I made homemade biscuits, eggs and bacon. See I actually can cook.

I just put Kaydence down for a nap so I figured I would take make a minute and tell you guys whats been going on this morning so far. Kaydence slept through the night again. Shes been doing this for about 3 weeks now and it is amazing. It really makes me feel so refreshed in the morning and able to get so much more done without being so cranky. She woke up this morning in her usually good mood. Shes definatly a morning person; just like mama. She ate breakfast then sat in her bouncy chair while I cooked and ate my breakfast.
We usually play for a while in the mornings before her 9 o' clock nap by singing and dancing and various other things. This morning while we were singing Kaydence decided that she would sing along with me. It was absolutly adorable and here is a little bit of her singing...
After her singing for about 10 minutes or so I decided that we would sit down in her room and read one of her books that her Aunt Shell gave her...Cloudy with a chance of meatballs. I know that she didn't understand the book, but she was so engaged in the book she sat there very quietly and just looked at the pages and listened. It was amazing to watch how she loved hearing me read to her and she even tryed to turn the pages with me. I didn't think that we would make it through half of the book, but we read the whole thing. It was awesome!

Holding a bottle!
Okay so Kaydence has such an ammusing personality. She likes to do things for Miles that she would never do for me such as holding her bottle. I have been trying to get her to hold a bottle for a while and what does she do yesterday while i'm working out but hold her bottle for daddy. He took a few pictures of this momentous occasion...

We watch Kaydence grow with each passing day. Its quite amazing to watch and so much fun. She has started reaching for our faces lately witch she thinks is so much fun even though she puts us through a nice scratching and hair pulling, but its so worth it to see her having fun. So I decided to video tape her this morning and show everyone what she enjoys doing.
We went to the doctor yesterday because Kaydences' thrush failds to go away even after 7 days of antibiotics. Its usually enjoyable for us to go to the doctor since Kaydence gets to see all of the different people. She loves showing off; she's such a ham. This time of very different; she was not the happy baby that we all usually see. She was woken mid nap and was very frustrated and let us all know it, but she was comforted when daddy showed up. Daddy ususlly doesnt get to come with us to doctor appointments, but he got off just in time for this one. So were going to go through another round of this antibiotic and see if applying it differntly will help.

Soft Solids!
Something I noticed today was that she is such the little fish. She absolutly loves to take baths and showers and now when she is in the tub she splashes us and gets the biggest kick out of it.
This is Kaydence enjoying what daddy loves to do...skatebording. It was so cute; she was not in the best mood and Miles decided to distract her with the skatebored, and it was an absolute success.
One night after dinner Kaydence and daddy sat at the table and played for the longest time. Miles fed her oatmeal and apple juice then cut her nails and then just sat on the table and played. It was so adorable; I love watching those two together. You can really see that they love each other so much.
