Alberta Little is our red-tail boa. Its not something I would usually agree to having in my home, but I do not want Kaydence as afraid of different animals as I am, so I agreed. We got her on Easter. She was born in November of 2009. She is growing pretty quickly, and is a nice addition to our family. Miles is trying to help me with my fear, and its going okay, but I still haven't touched her.

WELCOME HOME DADDY
Miles is finally home from a long five weeks in California. He got in at about 11 o' clock last night; which was a lot later than we expected. We are so happy to have him home. It hasn't been the same here without him. We were kind of worried about how Kaydence was going to react, but she did fine. Last night was okay she just wanted to go back to sleep. But this morning was great. After a little fussiness and a good nap she was loving her some daddy. I was so happy to see her loving on him so much, and I know that he was elated. While he was trying to get ready for work this afternoon she did not want him to put her down. It was adorable and just warmed my heart!

This is my homemade cookie cake...it was actually really really good. And Kaydence made Miles a 'Welcome Home' sign and fathers day card.

Miles, we love you so much and we are so happy to have you back home. Were going to make the best out of these next 2 months we have with you before you leave. We love you!

Little bit of this Little bit of that
Here are just a few pictures of what we have been up to. Kaydence is going going going non-stop. She make me so happy every time I look into those big blue eyes. She looks just like Miles its not even funny.

I saw an idea on a blog for pudding finger paint, and I wanted to try. Now I know that Kaydence is still pretty young for something like this, but she had a blast! As you can see in the next few pictures and it gave me time to make Miles a welcome home cookie cake.

Like I have said before I am getting really brave and letting Kaydence try many new foods. Here she is having noodles with a little bit of cheese. It was a hit!

Kaydence had a fun time playing in her new race car float the other day.

These are just a few snapshots I took while we were visiting Mrs. Cindy the other day.

Okay so the other day I was at a loss for something for Kaydence to do. She loves water and was in need of a bath so I decided to give her a bubble bath in her baby pool in the kitchen. Ha! I know what a crazy idea, but she has so much fun!

Random!
This is Kaydence making something for her daddy. He'll be home soon...Tuesday couldn't get here any slower.

I love taking pictures of Kaydence. I don't want to miss a moment. And I want Miles to be able to see everything that was going on while he was gone.

Kaydence tested out her 4th of July swimsuit and bow today. It was adorable!

Kaydence has started posing for the camera. HA!

She had on the cutest outfit this morning so I just had to take some pictures!

This is Kaydence's little piggy. She has become very attached to it lately.

This was at Walmart for just $1 so I just had to get it. Since she will not say mama I figured we needed to see it on some clothes.

Kaydence got to sit at the big table yesterday. She loved it she was in the loop. Oh! She is getting so big.

A Day in the Life of Kaydence
Kaydence begins her day with a nice warm bottle then on to playtime! She loves her activity table.

After some intense playtime Kaydence indulges herself with a few banana puffs and apple juice.

Next, we go and pick out her outfit for the day and get dressed. Then time for more adventures...this time its daddy's photo album.

After an awesome morning nap and some more playtime its time for lunch...oatmeal with bananas and strawberries and some fresh fruit...which Kaydence can feed to herself.

After lunch Kaydence and mommy went to Kmart just to look around and to get out of the house. Then we went over to Mrs. Cindy's house were we had another little photo shoot.

Then we went home and mommy made Kaydence something new for a snack...grilled cheese. Kaydence loved it! along with a little strawberry yogurt and apple juice.

Kaydence then went on to take a nice long afternoon nap, and when she woke up she enjoyed a nice cup of juice in the buff. HA!

Next, mommy and Kaydence went outside to cool off in her awesome new baby pool. She loves to be outside and in this weather she has to be able to cool off and what better way than a pool. And Kaydence loves the water so this is perfect for her.

After her pool time Kaydence enjoys a nice bottle and then proceeds to looking at daddy's pictures again.

Then she crawls on over to the back door and yells at Tebow and tries to give him kisses through the door.

Kaydence ends her day with a warm bubble bath and bottle and a night time story. That's the life of an eight month old.
