Since I haven't really had the time to wright I figured I sit down during Kaydences' nap and recap the past few months. In December we were very thankful to be able to go home for Christmas and New Years. While we were there Kaydence was able to visit Santa Clause for the first time. It was a pleasent experience. She's such an amazing baby and she does well being with new people. She's such a little ham; she loves showing off while others are around then acts like a little miss priss when its just Miles and me.
As one of her Christmas gifts Kaydence recieved a gift certificate to get her ears pierced. At first I was nervous. I thought maybe she was too young, but we did it anyways and it was a success. She cried; of course, but that only last for a few minutes. It was soon over and we had lovely diamonds in her ears.
It was a little bit of an adjustment for Kaydence being back home since she wasnt around everyone, but she delt with only having me and miles around. She's getting so much bigger with every passing day. She loves having her tummy time every morning and with daddy in the evening. She can keep her head up for the longest time and she can turn herself in a circle while on her tummy; it's adorable. And she is 'talking' so much more now lol.
We decided that we really needed to pick a church and just go. Which was kind of hard because we do not know anyone that goes to church so we were nervous that we would be the odd balls. So we picked First Baptist of Jacksonville and we've been going there for the past few weeks and we really like it. It is a really big church; a lot bigger that were used to, but the Pastor is awesome so I think that were going to continue attending. Kaydence has been awesome during the services too. Were sort of nervous to put her in the nursery, but she does so well during the service that we really don't mind keeping her there with us. Its great to be back in a church.
So this past Sunday I noticed a white spot in Kaydences' mouth, but she has just spit up so I thought that it was just formula and it wiped right out, so I wasn't worried. When we were playing on the floor Monday morning I noticed a lot more white spots on her cheek and upper lip. I remember reading about thrush in one of my parenting books and I was sure that that is what it was so I immediatly called the doctor and made her an appointment. We went to the doctor first thing Tuesday. Kaydence loves going to the doctor. I think its because she gets to be naked lol. She loves having nothing on. She laughs, giggles and smiles at all of the nurses and doctors; like I said she's a big ham. She's a hit when we go to the doctor. We got a banana flavored mouth was to help the thrush. She's been taking it for two days now and it's really working, and she loves the banana flavor.
Here are a few pictures from the past few weeks...

That beautiful girl is a spitting image of her daddy. Sorry Jen but she only favors you when she smiles... I love you guys.
